1. Your as well as your spouse's WILL.

2. Birth Certificates, all family members.
3. Original Pension papers, if superannuated, in a separate folder be kept in safe place. Pension bank Account which must be JOINT with your spouse with active nomination in the name of child or as desired. See ser 23 for PPO.
4. Marriage certificate if any.
5. Property papers- House/ Flat ownership, Real Estate
6. Property Tax papers i.e. Municipal Tax papers, Land and Building Tax papers, Society Tax papers , etc.
7. Rent papers with all correspondence in connection with the same
8. Pending litigation papers if any.
9. Court decisions, if any, save Judgements both in hard as well as e-copies.
10. Names of Legal Advisors and their telephone Nos. and addresses
11. Telephone files- first receipt indicating the security deposit.
12. Deposit receipts of Gas connection indicating the security deposit.
13. Deposit receipts of Electric meter and water connection with amount of security deposited.
14. Medical files with last reports.
15. Passport, driving license , Identity card, election card , CSD and club Cards. Retain photo copies or e-copies in your files.
16. Income Tax and Wealth tax files, duly updated with last 6 assessments. in case of the demise of the pensioner/family pensioner his/her last return has to be filed.
17. Insurance Policy files, LIC, GIC, Health, Medical, Fire Accident etc.
18. Motor car / scooter papers and car/scooter Registration and insurance papers.

19. Bank accounts with details of each account, Name of the Banks etc. including Internet banking details. Ensure to tag all filled passbooks and retain them in safe place you donot know when you may need them.
20. Detail and keys of Bank Lockers with details of Bank and Locker numbers.
22. Cumulative Time Deposits in Post Office / Bank indicating details thereof.
23. PPO Must have Name of the Spouse as Family Pensioner with correct spellings of the spouse's name as per passport etc and most important his/her date of birth. Take action to have it completed accordingly, the details are available on this site. Donot ignore this important step.
24. Your nomination for LIFE TIME ARREARS must with your pension Bank.
25. Any other matter of interest to your family, incl your passwords and log in to your email IDs and other cloud based back ups. Note all these is a diary so that these are easily located after we are gone. .
26. The names and addresses of your close friends who will help out after your departure and other instructions for your spouse and family members.
27. Dnot feel shy of consulting others for any doubts, there are people who know more than us and are ready to help.
28. File all your original papers like PPO. Corrg PPO, Insurance Policies etc in a separate file other than your working file. Use their photocopies in the WORKING FILES. Donot laminate your Original documents.
29. UPLOAD your digital copies to your DIGITAL LOCKER , create an account on digitallocker.com which is a Govt Site. Note the log in and password of the site in a note book.
30. Write down all your LOG IN details and PASSWORDs of your Emails , I-Cloud sites, webpages and secured Digitised Documents and the passwords for your mobile phones and laptops in a diary which may be easily available after your departure to the family.
27. Dnot feel shy of consulting others for any doubts, there are people who know more than us and are ready to help.
