HAPPY NDA DAY

NDA made us Man from a boy.... HAPPY NDA DAY (16th JAN EVERY YEAR)
X-NDA / NDA... Must Read!!

When all places in hell was full GOD made NDA!!!
Every year 2 lakh fools appear for an exam out of which only 300 idiots are unlucky enough to get through!!!
Life is a beautiful journey NDA is an accident, which happened to us the EX-NDAs!!!
                                      आगे पढ़ने के लिए नीचे क्लिक कर्रें

Hey guys,
Some NDA humour (Graffiti from Sudan / Science Block). This really rocks!!!

Kehte hai ishq me neend ud jaati hai...
Koi humse bi pyaar karein himein neend bahut aati hai...

Once second termers went to report to a  CSM. Course Senior knocked on the door and said:
"Excuse me sir, Second termers reporting sir..."
Ander cabin se lete lete, CSM asked: "How are you?"
Cadet replied: "Sir I'm fine!"
CSM again asked: "Abe how are you?"
Cadet replied "Sir I am fine sir."
CSM angrily replied: "Abe haal nahi pooch raha, ye bataao kitne ho?"

Life is a journey... NDA is an accident!
A Rs 20/- form f@#$%& my life...
=> to sleep is human, not to wake them up is divine!!!!!!
=> DLTGH- 154!!!!!!! Oh god !! Can you speed up the time?

An anecdote...
This happened when I was in my third term... Within the first week of the term.... A rustic first termer became a Flanky..... As per tradition, they also get cold coffee...... but this rustic first termer after getting a glass full of cold coffee (which we used to die for...), went straight to the bathroom with it..... A Sixth Termer there saw him pouring it into the drain!!!
He asked in pure shock...."What are you doing?"
The rustic First Termer replied....... "Sir, the tea is not hot!!!!!!!"

Life is a girl.   NDA is a gang rape...
Bewafa ke pyaar mein, humne itna intezaar kiya, aur is intezar mein na jane kitnonse pyar kiya...

"Why is home so sweet???
B'coz there is less sugar in mess!!!"

One's lonely
Two's company
Three's crowd
And four's squad - “Sawdhan Chal!”

When all places in hell was full GOD made NDA in Khadakvasla !!!
Every year 2 lakh fools appear 4 an exam out of which only 300 idiots are unlucky enough to get through!!!
Life is a beautiful journey NDA is an accident!!!

This cadet was sent on charge by a lady instructor (lookalike 'Taadka') for giving 'meaningful looks to her. Everyone dreaded that 'Bigul'* would soon blow for this unfortunate soul.
Sqn office instead gave him a special liberty to go to Pune city and "change his perspective" of beauty
"It happens only in NDA !!!!"
(* those who don't know:bigul is the trumpet blown to celebrate the relegation of any defaulter cadet!)

It makes sense doesn’t it - *You can see a senior naked but not in the rig!
*Going through hell........... keep going

Feeling better? Don’t worry, you will get over it!

A bunch of new desks were installed in the LH-21 and 23 in Sudan (Maths Dept)...
A day later... Big ribbon with scissors made using a marker - "I hereby declare this desk open for graffitti!!!
Written on the desk....Laid down  my head in memory of those who laid down their lives trying to keep awake in class of physics after double outdoors( PT &Drill)......

A salute to the great land  NDA...
which taught us that
x-country is not run by legs but by the mind...
Maths is not learnt in classes but on ropes...
Swimming is not learnt in swimming pool but in bucket...
Firing is not done by pulling the trigger but by rolling...
A place which taught "how to learn NDA prayer" by having the world upside down
A place which taught us that Cold coffee and pastry are the best delicacies in the world

And everything else by creamrolling..

A place which taught that 'nothing is impossible' is just not a phrase...

Hats off to NDA

Lastly not forgetting the Tipsy Pudding,
A place which taught us that there is nothing better than this in life.

Thank you NDA for serving us T-P during our Reunions

THAT LITTLE GIRL-I LOST LONG AGO

THAT LITTLE GIRL I LOST LONG AGO
                    by Shruti Dhand

Seeing these little girls play in the Ram Vihar lawns today, my mind wandered off to the thoughts of a little girl I had known years back. She was no different from these little girls with their hair tied up in pigtails. Such a simple and beautiful world she lived in, so colorful and fragrant. Even the little of things brought big joys to her; tensions, responsibilities, suspicion, competition were just another words whose spelling were difficult for her to learn! I still remember her coming back from school, throwing her bag off and all ready for her nap... her appointment with the dream fairy!! Evenings were to be spent with her best friends- her teddies and dolls... she couldn’t wait to share her every little secret with them! There was not a secret she couldn’t share ... the heart so clean and clear!!! Her laugh was in perfect accord with her heart filled with immaculate happiness...! Her eyes on the ever smiling face was the gateway of innocence she held within...with twinkle of the brightest star on a clear night…

I often wonder if she was in official welcome committee of rain god? Every time raindrops quenched the thirst of this earth, she would run out and greet them n dance on their music…. A free spirit!!!!

She believed firmly, that world is beautiful... Her world was indeed beautiful. Her mesmerizing smile welcomed everybody. I never noticed any suspicion in her eyes for anyone…but she sure did shy away and tug herself behind her mother. Thinking of her brings smile on my face.

She told me that she had her worries too!!! Worries of exams!...But as far as I remember, she used to be more excited about the holidays that followed  the exams! I can go on telling so much about her.. I had known her so well... There was a time when we both had walked together on the path of life... But I don’t know when we started drifting apart?.. When her picture became hazier and hazier?...I got so engrossed in I don’t know what, that I didn’t even realize that I am losing her... I lost her for ever ..I lost the little girl... I lost my childhood!!!

When did this transformation ever take place?.. Was it sudden or gradual? When did all this happen? When did this world lose its beauty, was it when I stumbled onto stones of harsh realities or when everything in moral story books n fairy tales seemed nothing more than black patches on paper? Why was the fragrance replaced by the stench of selfishness? Was it when I realized this world is full of corpses of people whom we crush to climb the ladders of so called success? When did all that we believed as kids became just mere words?

I never seem to have realized when the “Labeled” outfits replaced the school uniforms, the watercolors in hand got replaced by makeup, pigtails replaced fancy haircuts, and the trip to a beauty salon became a religious affair. Pain replaced the sparkle in the eyes and innocence became a dangerous thing to posses. Pretension, tensions, responsibilities, cutthroat competition and suspicion are not just words but a way of life. The dolls and teddies crave for attention but are just another pieces of furniture in room now! When did I get so busy that I started overlooking the little joys, life had to offer? When, why, how….I don’t have the answers for these and I don’t know where to look for them?  I don’t know when I moved ahead in life, leaving my childhood far behind. I know its lost for ever, gone never to return.... but deep down my heart I long for that little girl whom I lost somewhere in my life’s path far behind... Forever!!

HEALTH CARE - CPR

1. EMERGENCY AID FOR CARDIC ARREST
If the heart stops pumping, it is known as a cardiac arrest. It happened recently while we senior citizens were sitting in the park for our evening gup-shup. One of our friend suddenly collapsed  while sitting on the park bench. His pulse showed no sign and his eyes were turning. We made him lie down and having documented the paper for CPR few days earlier it was fresh on mind to activate the procedure. To our happiness in 25 seconds the heart beat started again and the person revived. He got

three stunts in the hospital after emergency admission.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions that delivers oxygen and artificial circulation to a person whose heart has stopped. This is referred to as being in cardiac arrest. CPR can be life-saving first aid.
Two documents are uploaded for your convenience to learn all about this life saving CPR. Click the titles to access the presentations.
     B.   HOW TO PERFORM CPR ON ADULTS. (Complete with photographs)
     C    CPR - HAND OUT -  PDF
2.  DESI TREATMENT FOR DENGUE:

Take 10 Leaves of "Harshingar" Tree, and 8 Kaali Mirch crush kar lo, (Black Pepper), and boil it in 3 Glass of Water, when it boil downs to half, i.e. 1.5 Glass water, give 1 Sip every 1/2 Hour, for 12 Hours, Platelets will start increasing after first sip, it is a Miracle Drug, as Platelets rose to 16000 from 7000 after first sip and to 25000 after second sip, it is sure shot treatment for Dengue. Spread this message to maximum people, so that anybody who is suffering should take it to get relief from Dengue.

DEFENCE PENSIONERS MUST KNOW THEIR PENSION

It has been observed with great concern that a large number of Defence pensioners (PBORs) including Honorary Rank officers just accept whatever the bank pays to them as pension. The position of a family pensioner is still worse.
The highly educated children of many defence pensioners don’t bother about to find out whether their parents are getting the correct pension.
The Exwel Trust volunteers, practically go to the residences of many family pensioners after getting the details of pensioners and addresses from the pension paying banks. Hardly one percent of the pensioner comes out of their own for help. They simply continue to accept whatever is paid by the bank.
The Trust conducted one pensioners meet to help the pensioners to get their correct pension

and arrears. The response was better than expected. But the follow up by the pensioners was very poor. There were about 150 pensioners in one pensioners meet. It was not possible for the organizers of the meet to settle all the cases in one day. Therefore they have asked the pensioners to come on different dates. But most of the pensioners did not turn up to get their correct pension. If this is the attitude of the majority of the defence pensioners, the banks will continue to pay whatever the amount they feel like paying. The voluntary organizations like the Exwel Trust will not have any interest to proceed further in the matter.
Whatever the services done by the Trust was purely voluntary. Most of the pensioners helped by the Trust are widows above the age of 70. They cannot go to the bank and claim the pension arrears of their own. They cannot approach even the pension adalat. The pension adalats are mere eye wash.
The Exwel Trust had referred more than 15 cases to the SBI CPPC, Chennai. So far the bank had not even acknowledged the complaint. Most of them are Special Family pensioners. They are being paid a basic pension of Rs.3500 instead of Rs.7000 from 01.01.2006.
We feel like sending legal notice to the bank. However we are afraid of the expenses involved on a legal procedure.

The Bank’s legal department seldom accepts the verdict of the lower court. They will not hesitate to drag the case to even supreme court. The banks may be able to spend any amount for the legal battle. But a poor pensioner cannot afford to spend.
It is high time that the Defence pensioners better know about their pension. Otherwise the Banks in due course may stop paying the pension.
